Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Law, Politics, Administration welcomes original scholarly contributions that advance research and critical discussion in the fields of law, political science, public administration, governance, public policy, international relations, constitutional studies, legal theory, and related interdisciplinary areas. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that demonstrate academic rigor, analytical depth, methodological clarity, and relevance to contemporary legal, political, and administrative issues at national, regional, or international levels.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publisher at the time of submission. Authors should ensure that all individuals listed as authors have made substantial academic contributions to the work and have approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission. Any potential conflicts of interest, sources of funding, or institutional affiliations that may influence the research should be clearly disclosed within the manuscript.

The journal accepts research articles, review articles, theoretical papers, policy analyses, comparative studies, and case-based discussions. Manuscripts should be prepared in clear and professional English using a standard word-processing format. Authors are advised to use a readable font such as Times New Roman, 12-point size, with 1.5 or double line spacing and adequate margins throughout the document. Pages should be numbered consecutively to facilitate the review and editorial process.

A typical manuscript should include a concise and informative title, the names and institutional affiliations of all authors, an abstract of approximately 150–250 words, and a set of four to six relevant keywords. The main text should normally be organized into clearly identifiable sections such as introduction, literature review, research methodology, analysis or discussion, findings, conclusion, and references. Headings and subheadings should be used consistently to improve readability and structure.

Authors should adopt a recognized academic citation and referencing style appropriate to legal and social science scholarship, such as APA, Chicago, Harvard, OSCOLA, or another consistently applied standard approved by the journal. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all citations, statutes, regulations, treaties, judicial decisions, and other legal authorities referenced in the manuscript.

Where empirical research involves human participants, interviews, surveys, or sensitive data, authors should confirm that appropriate ethical standards and institutional requirements have been followed. Any necessary ethical approvals, informed consent procedures, or permissions should be indicated in the manuscript where relevant. Data presented in tables, figures, or appendices should be clearly labeled, accurately reported, and accompanied by appropriate source information.

The journal follows a scholarly peer-review process to evaluate the academic quality, originality, relevance, and clarity of submitted manuscripts. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial or reviewer comments, and revised submissions should be accompanied by a clear explanation of the changes made. The editorial board reserves the right to make minor editorial adjustments relating to style, formatting, grammar, and presentation in order to maintain the journal’s publication standards.

Before submission, authors are encouraged to carefully proofread their manuscripts for language accuracy, formatting consistency, citation completeness, and adherence to these guidelines. Submissions that do not conform substantially to the journal’s requirements may be returned to authors for technical revision prior to being considered for peer review.

Privacy Statement

Law, Politics, Administration is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals who interact with the journal, including authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. Any personal information collected through the journal’s website, submission system, email correspondence, or editorial processes is used solely for the purposes of manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, publication management, and the maintenance of academic records related to the journal’s activities.

The journal may collect information such as names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, postal addresses, and other contact details provided voluntarily by users during manuscript submission, reviewer registration, or communication with the editorial office. This information is used exclusively to facilitate the editorial and publication process, including acknowledging submissions, coordinating peer review, communicating editorial decisions, processing revisions, and informing users about matters directly related to the journal.

Personal data will be handled with appropriate administrative and technical measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse. The journal does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise distribute personal information to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Manuscripts under review are treated as confidential documents and may not be used for personal advantage or disclosed to others without authorization from the editorial office.

The journal’s website may use standard technical tools such as server logs or cookies to improve website functionality, monitor system performance, enhance user experience, and generate anonymous usage statistics. Such information is collected in a non-identifiable form whenever possible and is not used to personally identify visitors unless required for security or technical administration.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any personal data included in their manuscripts, such as interview information, survey responses, case materials, or other identifiable content, has been collected and presented in accordance with applicable ethical and legal requirements, including obtaining informed consent where necessary.

By submitting a manuscript, registering as a reviewer, or otherwise interacting with Law, Politics, Administration, users acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. The journal reserves the right to update or revise this statement when necessary to reflect changes in editorial practices, legal requirements, or data protection standards. Any updated version will be published on the journal’s official website and will become effective upon publication.
